The beautiful spa area flooded, and the normal activities of the health and relaxation facility had to be paused. What was scheduled to be a short closure turned into months, as delays in construction brought on by the storm’s devastation met supply chain slowdowns and were exacerbated by claims issues.
Most people might have seen the troubles as a reason to curl up in a ball and hope for better luck on the next venture. But most people are not Chrissy Mobley.
Chrissy founded Bow Tie Massage on the premise of improving people’s lives–both her clients’ and her employees’. Undaunted (though she’d be the first to admit there were good days and bad days), she tenaciously determined she would build back Bow Tie bigger and better!
She dug deep into her creative well and redesigned the spa, adding new features (e.g. a you’ve-got-to-see-it water wall and relaxation room and added tubs and IR sauna amenities). She found creative ways to take care of staff needs and ensure that her clients continued to be serviced by the happiest and best in the business.
The Phoenix is a mythical creature that rises to soar from the ashes. While Bow Tie wasn’t in ashes, it was, literally and at times, a shell of its former self. Vision, consistency, and TLC brought Bow Tie back better than ever; you should take your weary self and become the better version of you that Bow Tie can restore.
